I find myself reaching for CS & CP more often than I do the Fabfilter plug-ins if I want to add a little colour to a track. Posted about my SAB listing a few weeks ago about not showing up in search only when you entered the exact name. but it comes at a price, and that is the level of complexity in the interface. The range of sounds you can get out of these three plugs is obviously greater than CS & CP.

Volcano 3 sees the introduction of a completely reimagined interface, a raft of new vintage-style filter shapes, per-filter saturation control, full visualization of modulation sources and targets, and much more. Twin / Timeless / Volcano are excellent plug-ins, and I have a lot of respect for FabFilter. FabFilter has announced the immediate availability of Volcano 3, the latest version of the filter plug-in. FabFilter has announced the immediate availability of Volcano 3, the latest version of the filter plug-in. We get a lot of e-mails saying "I use these plug-ins on every single track". offers to sell and transfer FabFilter licenses on forums such as KVR, VI Control, or Sound on Sound. Back in the 00s I was a regular at KVR, but I really enjoy this forum a lot more because. They both do exactly what they set out to do simply and elegantly, they get "the sound" with a minimum of fuss and can go from subtle to extreme with a few clicks. Save up to 14 at the cheapest FabFilter retailer. The beauty of CS and CP, and the reason they're still selling well, is the deceptively simple interface of each. Anyone had a chance to compare these to CamelSpace and CamelPhat?Note: I run support for Camel Audio.
